When needs are so great, it is easy to use whatever resources are available to the need that is most pressing at the moment. To combat this, Edina has developed a set of five priorities for how she spends her resources. They are:

The Basics

It seems obvious that the children need the basics, but nothing can be taken for granted.

  • Food & Water
  • Clothing
  • Shelter

With an inadequate public education system, private schooling is essential for the children to have a brighter future.

  • Tuition
  • Exam fees
  • Uniforms
  • School supplies

When you have no money, even the smallest emergency can become an insurmountable obstacle.

  • Medical care
  • Unexpected expenses, such as repairs or emergency transportation
Community outreach

Care and encouragement of people in the community who are in desperate need.

  • Cultivating food crops in the garden
  • Revenue-generating projects, such as egg farming
