Ribfest

Held Labour Day Weekend, in Burlington’s Spencer Smith Park, Canada’s Largest Ribfest is just that, and attracts tens of thousands of people each year for good food and family entertainment. (150,000 to 175,000!)

This is an important fundraising opportunity for us. In 2016, we raised close to $3,000.

All volunteer positions qualify for the “Volunteer Motivation Program” — volunteer hours can be credited toward a donation to charity. Volunteer positions include Security (more like Hospitality), Beverage Cashier, Beverage Server, Eco Team, Eco Setup (Cleaning the park, early morning), and more. When you register, select “Speroway/Home of Grace” from the list of charities you can choose to support.
